Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Anwarulhaq Sahibzada, Principal of Nograkhail High School in Khogyani district of Nngarhar province.
According to officials at the Ministry of Education, in a terrorist attack carried out on Tuesday afternoon, the enemies of peace and security of Afghanistan shot dead Anwarulhaq Sahibzada, the Principal of Nogarkhail High School in Khwaran area of Khogyani district in Nangarhar province.
Denouncing the act in the strongest possible terms, the president said, “Terrorist attack on teachers and civil servants of education always engaged in serving children of the country, are carried out by those who want Afghans to remain uneducated and needy.”
President Karzai added, “The enemies of education must know that by carrying out such terrorist attacks, they cannot make our people back off from the strong determination they have for their children’s education.” The president offers deepest condolences and sympathies to the family and relatives of the late principal and prays for their endurance.
