Kabul (BNA) Six armed Taliban insurgents were arrested and a quantity of heavy and light ammunition was seized in combined operation of security forces in Helmand province.
Interior ministry press office said to BNA, this operation conducted for cleaning insecure regions from presence of Taliban in Nawzad, Boghran, Mosa Qala and Kajaki districts and ended this morning.
In these operations six Taliban insurgents were arrested and 44 different types of mines, 5 Kalashnikovs, 100 kg of hashish, 55 gun bulletins, 45 mortar mines, 100 kg of explosive devices and a quantity of heavy and light arms of Taliban which were hidden in their hideouts for terrorist and destructive attacks were seized by these forces.
