Kabul (BNA) The national defense ministry reported from killing of 18 Taliban terrorist during clearing operations conducted by defense and security forces.
National defense ministry press office with releasing a statement told BNA, clashes occurred between national security forces and terrorists in Chora district, Urozgan province, nine terrorist belonged to Mullah Saifullah were killed and 6 others have been wounded.
Likewise, as a result of Afghan security forces air raid in Kotwal region, Trenkot city 3 terrorists were killed and their stronghold has been destroyed.
According to the statement, Taliban also stormed on police checkpoints in Poshtord district, Farah province which were faced with severe resistance of security forces in which 6 Taliban terrorists were killed and 9 others have been wounded.
