Trenkot (BNA) Eight Taliban insurgents were killed in a clash by security forces and four others were wounded in Urozgan province last night.
The insurgents were suppressed in Dehrawod District and suburb of Trenkot city.
ANA top commander told BNA, eight insurgents were killed and four others were injured in the clashes.
The Taliban were targeted while terrorist activities.
According to another report, a series of blasts were prevented in Urozgan province this morning.
Security officials discovered and defused ten mines from busy roads of the province and prevented from deadly events.
No individuals or group has committed the responsibility of mine planting, but local officials blamed Taliban.
