Jawza 24th Coincides Auspicious Mother’s Day

Kabul (BNA) 24th Jawza is marked as the auspicious Day of Mother.
The day which is celebrated to honor the great status of one of the kindest and lovely creatures on earth and people in different parts the globe commemorate this day according to their customs and traditions to salute mother’s day night services which she offer to the human community during her life time.
The day also helps those who have lost their mothers or are away from them to remember their past memories and unforgettable moments which have spent under the soft hands of mother.
However, only marking this day wasn’t sufficient endeavor to recognize the high status of mothers, but in some extent it supports people to express their love and affection with regard to mothers` special role and contribution in nourishment of human.
Mothers` Day hauls a long history; historic documents unveil that the day had been marked even 25 year before the Christ and later on for the first time the day is marked in the United States of America by Inaja Rasps. Inaja Rasps was the first lady who laid the foundation stone of this day in order to awaken public in her country to respect the high rank of mothers.
After Ianja demise, May 2nd 1907 was officially announced as Mother’s Day following the end of World War 1st the Day started to be celebrated in the European countries and Austria became the first nation that celebrated the day in 1917 and Germany marked the day on 1922.
In many countries of the world, people strive to spend this day with their mothers and they purchase gifts to salute her position and her services. In Europe countries including Denmark, Finland, Australia, Belgium, Turkey and Italy celebrate second Sunday of month of May as Mother Day while people in Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates mark this day on month of May and present gifts to their mothers`. In Argentine and India people celebrate this day on the month of October and the Hindus celebrate this day for ten days which is known as (Dorga).
In Portugal and Spain people celebrate this day in churches through special services. In these countries Mother’s Day has religious background as well and 8th December is day in which people go to church for services to honor great status of saint marry mother of the prophet Jesus. But, in the Islamic world the day is coincides with birthday of Bibi Fatima Zahra daughter of the holy of prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
People in Afghanistan mark 24th Jawza as Mother` Day and nationals of the country in different regions salutes their mothers with special gifts while in large part of the country the people have not adequate awareness about this day due to illiteracy and various types of social issues which they confront in their life.
But, it would be positive move to awaken these people to recognize special position of mother in the human community and they could bring smiles to her lips by saying I love you my dear mother. It’s a fact that mother during her life time tolerate great challenges and difficulties for growth and comfort of her infant, she always strives to provide the best love, affection and kindness to her child. Mothers are those angles that could lead the society towards peace, security, change, tranquility and kindness and God has gifted mothers great potentials to contribute in the socioeconomic prosperity of the nations as history reveals evidence that during different time epoch mothers as women attained landmarks achievements in different fields of life alongside the men including science, technology, politics, education, medical sciences, nursing and rest of the literary and educations spheres and these potentials should be utilized by the world community to further intensify and recognize the great reputation of mothers in social sector. So, considering hidden potentials of the women, we should struggle to use capabilities of the women in our social life and persuade them to play their important role in socioeconomic opulence of the society and the country. Because educated mother gives birth to an educated nation.
The universal religion of Islam has provided great preference to the status of the mothers. In the holy Quran it has been said that a person even has no rights to express anger of use informal words for her or his mother. Islam has strongly denounced harsh treatment of or any impolite behavior towards mothers and has rewarded hell to those who angrily and impolitely behave with mother.
