Kabul (BNA) 14 armed insurgents were killed in a series operations in the country.
The operations conducted in different parts of Kandahar, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Ghazni, Urozgan, Helmand, Paktika and Nooristan provinces, also, at least 16 Taliban have been arrested.
BNA quoting NATO reports, most of these operations carried out on hideouts of Taliban where insurgents of this group were involved in organizing of terrorist attacks.
NATO said that three commanders and two organizers of terrorist attacks were among the arrested insurgents.
In these operations, NATO forces discovered four weapons depots where were tens of weapons and hundreds kg of explosives ammunitions.T. Suraya-Yasrzada
