Herat (BNA) Mullah Kamidan a notorious commander of Taliban militants was killed and his three colleagues were wounded following artillery attack led by Afghan National Army forces in Shindand district, southern Herat province.
Security officials in Herat say, artillery, land and air attacks will continue by Afghan security forces, until the Shindand district completely clear from existence of armed oppositions.
Jailani Farhad in-charge of publication in Herat provincial governor says, the attack carried out in Barmakan village, Shindand district, which war equipment of Taliban militants have been demolished as well.
