Minister Jahani, UAE Ambassador Discuss Cultural Cooperation

Kabul (BNA) Abdul Bari Jahani, Minister of Information and Culture in a meeting the other day with UAE ambassador to Kabul discussed on expansion of cultural relations between the two countries.
At the meeting attended also by deputy minister of finance and tourism for information and culture Zardasht Shams and advisor on publications to MoIC Muhibullah Zakir, minister of information and culture praised United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields in particular cultural ones, asking for expansion of cultural relations between MoIC and UAE.
They also discussed related to cooperation of UAE in renovation of Islamic period artifacts, digitalization of national archive’s manuscripts and signing a cultural MoU between MoIC and UAE.
In the meeting, minister of information and culture also praised UAE for its assistance to MoIC in providing four radio stations two years ago, asking for providing brief list of the equipment’s and completion of the project.
Afterwards, UAE ambassador to Afghanistan while considering expansion of cultural relations between Afghanistan and UAE as valuable assured of his country’s cooperation with MoIC in the respective sections.
The UAE ambassador invited minister of information and culture leading a delegation to pay a visit to international research center and Shaikh Zahid University in near future.
