Seventeen Armed Insurgents Killed, 17 Wounded In ANSF Activities

Kabul (BNA) Up to thirteen armed oppositions were killed and 17 others were wounded following air attacks carried out by Afghan National Army Forces (ANSF) within the last 24 hours in Sayad district, northern Sar-e-Pul province.
According to the Ministry of National Defense press office to BNA, four Kalashnikovs, 3-PK gun machine, some ammunitions and 80 motorcycles have been discovered and seized during the attacks.
Meanwhile, Abdullah and Kaka Gul two commanders belonging Mohammad Yusuf a top commander of Taliban militants have been joined peace process in Jorm district, northern Badakhshan province.
Also 4 insurgents were killed and 6 others were injured during clashes with Afghan security forces in Dasht Archi district, northern Kunduz province.
On the other hand, 4 rounds of mines have been discovered and defused following a military operation under the code name of “Zafar19” conducted by Afghan security forces in Shekhi region, Khwaja Sabz Posh district of northern Faryab province.
