Ferozkoh (BNA) Eight armed insurgents including 2 leaders of them were killed and seven other Taliban wounded in Doulena district, Ghor province last night.
Colonel Mostafa Mohsini police chief of Ghor province told BNA, a group of Taliban attacked on security posts in Shahjou region, Doulena district which caused clashes between them.
According to the police chief, three policemen were also injured in the clashes.
Mohsini added, the assailants wanted to capture the security posts which not succeeded and fled the site.
It is said three weeks ago four armed insurgents and four up- risers were also killed in a clash in Charseda district of the province and four others injured.
