Kandahar (BNA) Twenty Taliban insurgents were killed and number of others have been wounded in Kandahar last night.
The clashes occurred in parts of Khakriz, Maiwand and Arghandab districts after attack of Taliban on security forces.
Media office of security forces stationed in Kandahar with releasing a statement said, 20 armed Taliban were killed and number of others were injured.
Another report says, a Taliban insurgent was killed in his mine blast in Kandahar.
The attacker wanted to plant a mine on a main road in Shahwalikot district, the mine exploded and killed him.
Likewise, the security troops with discovering of nine mines from busy road of Kandahar, prevented from a series of blasts.
