Asadabad City (BNA) At a cost of AFN 72,951,000 funded by the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) 41 welfare projects have been completed in the districts of Sarkani, Narang and Nurgal and in a number of localities related to Asadabad city the provincial capital of eastern Kunar province.
According to relation and publication department of (MRRD) report to BNA, these development projects encompass the construction protection walls, retaining walls, pathway, water supply network, digging of water wells with hand pump.
Since its inception in Kunar province, the NSP covered 940 villages and has been able to complete 2260 welfare projects in different sectors.
