Commission Constituted To Solve Afghan Tourists Problems On Syrian-Iraq border

Kabul (BNA) Second Vice, President Mohammad Karim Khalili has constituted a commission to solve the problems of some 3000 Afghan tourists who visited sacred shrines in Syria have stranded on Syrian – Iraq border.
The commission has been tasked to solve the problem in consultation with the government of Iraq.
Composed of authorized representatives of the ministries for foreign affairs, Hajji and Auqaf, refugees and repatriation affairs and representative of the Vice President’s office headed by foreign ministry to visit Iraq and solve the problem in consultation with Iraq government.
The vice president has also sent a letter to Iraq Prime Minister Nurul Maliki calling for providing visa facilities to Afghan tourists touring Iraq.
The vice president in the letter also hoped for enhancing relations between the two nations.
