Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, in a statement released by his office to media strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on the Independent Election Commission (IEC) and said terrorists who failed to disturb the process have now targeted the commission office, killing a police troop and wounding a number of commission officials.
“The terrorist group tried their best to disturb the parliamentary election process but couldn’t reach their target, but, their attack on the commission office highlighted their hatred and enmity to the election process and democracy,” the CE was quoted by the statement as saying.
He said the militants would never success to stop the process of the commission officials in the country. He wished heaven to those lost their lives and immediate recovery to those wounded in the incident.
