Germany to Ease Cultural Cooperation with MoIC, Ambassador

Kabul (BNA)  in a meeting with Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Prof. Mohammad Rassoul Bawari, Germany ambassador in Kabul assured of his country’s enhanced cooperation with the ministry in cultural areas, BNA reported.
According to the agency thanking Germany for cooperation in different fields particularly in cultural sections, the acting minister of information and culture said Germany was a good of friend of the Afghan people.
In the meeting, both sides discussed the MIC’s plans on cultural arenas such as, renovation of Kabul Nendari building, construction of National Theatre, digitalizing Afghan Film documents, growing local music, renovation of historical relics and providing the ground for education and higher education programs through the deputy ministry of information and culture on youth affairs and those youth return home, BNA added.
At the end, calling Afghanistan on old friend of Germany, the ambassador assured of his country’s cooperation with the ministry of information and culture.
According to another report, the acting minister of information and culture in a meeting with UAE Embassy Charge d’ affaires to Kabul agreed to sign Cultural Cooperation Agreements with that country’s ministry of information and culture in the future, BNA reported.
In the meeting attended by Mohibullah Zakiri, the MoIC advisor on publication affairs, both sides agreed to ink Cultural Cooperation Agreements in near future, according to BNA.
Acting Minister Bawari also appreciated the UAE cooperation with Afghanistan in different fields particularly in cultural affairs over the last more than a decade.
