Kabul (BNA) At least 61 armed rebels including 21 Daesh loyalists were killed and 53 others including 13 Daesh fighters were wounded during military operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were conducted to suppress armed oppositions and insure peace and stability in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Kandahar, Urozgan, Farah, Baghlan, Takhar, Jawzjan, Badakhshan, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
The bodies of two senior commanders of the rebels were among the dead, the source added.
Also several Afghan National Army soldiers were martyred during the operations.
