“No One Is Allowed To Interfere In Justice, Judiciary Organs’ Affairs,” CE Abdullah

Kabul (BNA) “Rule of law is impossible without an independent justice system, thus, no one is allowed to interfere in justice and judiciary organs’ affairs,” Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah said on Sunday, his office said in a statement.
According to the statement, speaking in a ceremony held yesterday under the name of ‘Rule of Law and Justice”, Dr. Abdullah said that the judiciary system must have its independence against any organ and there must be no interference in their affairs.
Dr. Abdullah also stressed that justice will be applied only when we uproot oppression and corruption from the society, the statement added.
At the same time, the Second Vice President, Sarwar Danish said that bringing reforms in judicial system was a need and complained about bribery.
During the ceremony, Attorney General also vowed to seriously fight corruption within the judicial system.
“The Government of Afghanistan is decisive to fight corruption, our justice system could remove Afghanistan’s name from the index of corrupt countries in six months,” said Mohammad Farid Hamidi, the Attorney General of the country. The seminar was held by Supreme Court of the country.
