Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai strongly condemns the bomb blast in Charsada area in Peshawar, where a number of innocent civilians were injured.
Reports indicate that a blast went off on Monday at a car-park outside the venue of a peaceful protest gathering that had just started with a speech by Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfand Yar Wali Khan in Charsadda.
While strongly condemning the act of terror to target a public gathering, President Karzai said, “The attack stands against all democratic values and principles.”
The President prays for a rapid recovery of the injured and calls on the peoples of Pakistan and Afghanistan to make every joint effort in preventing such violent acts from recurring.
