Mahtarlam Baba city (BNA) Nearly five insurgents were killed following conflict with Afghan security forces in eastern Laghman province yesterday.
The conflict took place while, Afghan security forces convey faced with Taliban ambush in Alishang district of the province.
A senior commander of police in the east of the country said BNA, five Taliban insurgents including their local commander were killed in the battle.
He added, several weapons and motorcycles belong to the militants have been seized by Afghan security forces at the end of the struggle.
