Kabul (BNA) Based on the instruction of president an authorized commission to observe and celebrate Ramadan was observed.
Consisted of Chief Justice Abdul Salam Azimi as chairman and its members include of Interior Minister Mohammad Omar Daudzai, Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen, Mawlawi Mohammad Sediq Muslim the head of Darul Ifta with the Supreme Court and Kabul governor Abdul Jabar Taqwa in its meeting the other day issued the following instructions to media:
– To broadcast the recitation of Holy Quran during the holy month of Ramadan.
– All the media to adjust their programs in accordance with the requirements of the month of Ramadan.
– All the radios and televisions to pay serious attentions to airing and broadcasting religious programs.
– All the media are obliged to announce the time for Iftar (fast breaking) and Sahar (taking fast) in accordance with the timetables arranged by the Ministry of Hajj and Auqaf.
It is also said that the Ministry of Hajj and Auqaf to instruct the prayer leaders in the mosques and Hussinias to arrange their sermons in accordance with the demands of the month of Ramadan.
