Kabul (BNA) Acting President, Marshal Mohammad Qaseem Fahim chaired the meeting of the National Security Council and emphasized the role of the security forces in security and in combating with the enemies of the people of Afghanistan.
He said: “We have trust on our security forces and we appreciate their bravery in achieving their mission.”
He noted that the related security forces should attach most attention towards ensuring security.
The Minister of National Defense and Acting Minister of Interior as well as deputy director of the National Security Department presented reports on security situation in the country and pinpointed short comings.
According to the reports, the security situation was in better shape in the country and the security forces are ready for facing the enemies and defeat them decisively.
The meeting also debated some proposals which will be addressed by the relevant organs.
