Kabul (BNA) Acting Minister of Information & Culture and Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Dr. Kamal Sadat and general director of the High Office of Oversight & Anti-corruption (HOOAC) Ghulam Hussain Fakhri signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) to raise public awareness on fight against administrative corruption, BNA reported.
According to the agency, based on the MoU, the HOOAC would give awareness to the ministry’s different sections’ employees within the course of one year, to hold workshops and would train the staff with ways to fight the administrative corruption.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Dr. Kamal Sadat said that the Ministry of Information and Culture is committed to continue the anti-corruption drive, asking the ministry’s employees and the related media to continue their efforts for public awareness on anti-corruption.
Briefing the participants on activities of the High Office of Oversight and Anti-corruption, the said institution’s general director said fight against corruption is government’s top priority, adding the anti-corruption drive needs joint cooperation, in particular the ministries’ officials and employees.
