Kabul (BNA) UN deputy to secretary general and his accompanying delegation called on Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh, discussing various issues.
In the meeting, vice president while considering role of UN as key and effective in Afghanistan during the past 15 years stressed UN would further cooperate with Afghanistan government in strengthening of democratic processes in the country.
The UN former deputy to general secretary also insisted that besides reviewing UNAMA works in Afghanistan, the UN would manage its activities in a mechanism in which they could be further effective.
He said priorities which have been identified by Afghanistan government were key for the United Nations and they would try to conduct effective activities in this regard.
