Jalalabad (BNA) Big shipment of weapons were discovered in Nangarhar province this morning.
The shipment was loaded from Pakistan and was supposed to be transferred via Batikot District to Kapisa province.
51 heavy and light weapons and thousands of shells were discovered from the shipment.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA two persons have been detained in connection of the case.
He further added, the detainees skillfully placed the packages of weapons in a vehicle.
The detainees in primary investigation acknowledge that they loaded the weapons from Pakistan via to Batikot district of Jalalabad to Kapisa province.
The case is under investigation by police forces.
