Herat (BNA) Two mines were planted by armed insurgents in Shindand district highway, discovered and defused by ANA forces.
The mines were planted by insurgents in Anten region of the district, which were discovered and defused by 6th division personnel of the highway.
An ANA commander in the west of the country told BNA, by planting of the mines, armed insurgents wanted to organize a series of fatal events, but not succeeded to their evil goal.
According to him, the mines were discovered and neutralized with cooperation of local people and ANA forces.
