Worth 4.3m Afs a Water Reservoir will be Build in Wardak

WARDAK (BNA) local officials say  Construction work on a drinkable water supply network in Jaghatu district of Maidan Wardak province has started with a cost of 4.3 million Afghanis on Sundday.

Officials at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development say under the Water Supply and Sanitation Program, the work construction of a drinkable water supply network in the Jaghatu district of Maidan Wardak province started on Saturday.

With the financial support of UNICEF, the water supply network will be complete in 5 months, which will provide safe drinkable water to 190 houses in the neighborhood, said local officials of the provincial.

In the meantime, thousands of residential houses still do not have access to safe drinkable water in the country Afghanistan, according to UNICEF.
