Kabul (BNA) Afghanistan a country which has experienced more than 3 decades of destructive fighting exposed mostly by foreigners and now hopes those countries to stop their hostilities and interferences, because they, themselves experienced, that they will never achieve their evil goals.
Political analyst of BNA writes:
the recent statements of Mrs. Clinton US secretary of state that she gave Afghanistan a status of U.S non-NATO Ally indicates that Afghanistan has a special place on the world’s affairs and plays a great role in regional and international developments.
The developments, which occurred during the recent years, particularly after September 11, 2011, further attracted the world attention toward Afghanistan, and made it conspicuous that the geo-political situation of Afghan should be not ignored in security and economic events and developments.
Before, September 11 terroristic action, the world, specially the western countries, had no any interest to Afghanistan or saw it through the spectacles of Pakistan, which was a great mistake.
When the former Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan and occupied its, the world specially the western countries including U.S.A though that, Afghanistan would be a satellite of Soviet Union for ever but the heroic struggle of Afghan free and independence loving people, proved that they had never accepted captivity and slavery.
Using these experiences, now the U.S clearly knows that this beating heart of Asia can confront challenges’ and can play a significant role in solving regional disputes and maintain peace and security, so consciously announced Afghanistan as it’s a non -NATO ally.
Without doubt, giving the status of non-NATO ally to Afghanistan by U.S will cause susceptibility in capitals of some countries. But Afghans have the pride that, in long history their land has never been used against any country, and the descendants of those brave men and women highly respect that heritage, and once again assure those countries that Afghan soil will be never used against the interests of any country.
The widening of strategic cooperation with America, western countries and regional countries like India and China provide an opportunity for Afghans to confront the hostilities and challenges originate from outside interventions and to change the nightmare of the three decades of disputes and unrest to an atmosphere of peace which is required for progress and development of our homeland, Afghanistan is announced by America as its non-NATO ally, that has already signed strategic cooperation agreements with a number of major countries.
Unfortunately, the open a secret intervention still continue and certain circles don’t want to end their provocations and interventions.
Now it is the time, the authorities of the country, to use the above opportunities for strengthening regional and international cooperation and coordination and for improving security in the region especially in our country.
