Contract Signs with Aryana Afghan Airline to Carry Pilgrims Transportation

KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs on Thursday signed a contract for the transportation of pilgrims with Aryana Afghan Airlines.

The Ministry stated in a press release, that a contract for air services for the pilgrims transportation has been signed between Ministry of Haj and Aryana Afghan Airline today Thursday.

Based on the contract Aryana Afghan Airline has agreed to transfer about half of the specified quota in the Hajj process in accordance with the conditions provided with the existing aviation standards.

The quota of Hajj process of the year (1401 AH) for the applicants of Hajj in Afghanistan has been stated as a total of 13 thousand 583 people.

Meanwhile, the Saudi government recently announced that it has increased its capacity to accept pilgrims for the current year’s Hajj, and said that one million pilgrims are expected to attend this year’s hypothetical Hajj.
