Corona Vaccine Campaign Started in Baghlan

Pul-e-Khomri (BNA) The Baghlan Public Health Department has launched corona vaccination campaign in the province to prevent the spread of the corona virus yesterday.

Abdullah Malang, spokesman for Public Health Department of Baghlan told a local correspondent of BNA, this work has been underway for 25 days with the aim of eradicating the corona virus in Baghlan.

Abdul Alim Ghafari, deputy director of Public Health Department of Baghlan said the campaign was launched in co-operation with nine groups of five in the city of Pul-e-Khumri and its suburbs.

Ghafari called the adaptation of the corona vaccine important and fundamental in reducing mortality from the virus and added that since the beginning of the implementation of the corona vaccine in Baghlan, more than fifty thousand people have been vaccinated.

The Baghlan deputy director of public health said the corona vaccine had no side effects. He asked the citizens of Pul-e-Khumri to use the opportunity to apply the vaccine to themselves and their families.
