Taliban Rebels Killed in Balkh Operation

Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Ten armed Taliban rebels were killed in Balkh province yesterday.
Mohammad Hanif Rezaee Shaheen 209 army corps told BNA, the insurgents were killed in a clearing operation conducted by security troops in outskirt of Doulatabad district.
Seven other insurgents have been wounded and several villages of Daoulatabad district were also cleared from Taliban in the operation, said Rezaee.
Another report says, the security official of Balkh province detained two Taliban from a police checkpoint in Deh Qazi region, Balkh province.
According to another report, ten armed oppositions were killed in Kunduz province yesterday.
Ghulam Hazrat Karimi spokesman of Pamer 20 division told BNA, the militants were killed in an air strike of security troop in their strongholds in Imam Sahib District.
Another insurgents has been wounded and numerous of heavy and light weapons, two hideouts of the insurgents were also destroyed in the raid. Said Karimi
