Country’s Health Sector Needs Change: Ebad

KABUL (BNA) Afghan Acting Public Health Minister, Dr. Qalandar Ebad said during his visit to Khost province that the health sector of the country needs reforms and changes.

Dr. Ebad said that a paralyzed and weak health sector has been inherited from the previous regime, adding the Ministry striving to improve the health sector services in the country.

According to the Minister of Public Health 2330 small and large clinics that were inactive have started to function again.

He said that many health programs of the Ministry of Public Health have been planned in Khost and these programs will be conducted shortly to address health services problems in the country.
