Kabul (BNA) President Barack Obama has sent congratulatory message on the advent of Eid-ul-Fitr to President Hamid Karzai.
The US president in his message said that, “On behalf of the people of the United States of America I am extending my best wishes to you and the nation of Afghanistan on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. “Over the past one month, Muslims across the globe by observing or fast had demonstrated their faith by extending cooperation to the needy people,” President Obama said in his message, saying the auspicious Eid days will be an opportunity for your welfare and your dears. President Obama in his message also wished sound health for the President Karzai and peace for Afghanistan in the year ahead.
