Kabul (BNA) The last meeting of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) with second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili on the chair held meeting yesterday, BNA reported. At the outset, the second vice president lauded the efforts of the members of the body, implementing partners, UN and international aid agencies for giving response during natural disasters and providing assistance to the affected people over the past years. Khalili said in the meeting the NDMA begun its work from zero and fortunately today the Afghans are satisfied with its achievements, saying providing assistance to the affected people is the responsibility of NDMA and if it had failed to response the affected people on time he personally rendered apology. The participants in the meeting lauded the second vice president during hours of need and in providing assistance to the needy people.
