Urgent Management Need To Decrease Civil And Military’s Casualties

Wednesday, May 03, 2017

Kabul (BNA) The increasing number of casualties among civilians is bad and shocking news, to overcome this acute problem requires the management of war and crisis in the country.
BNA political analyst commenting on the issue writes recently SIGAR that monitoring the reconstruction process of Afghanistan announced, only during the last six months of the current year, 807 Afghan military personnel have lost their lives in battle against terrorism. This American agency claims that the number of civilians and military personnel casualties during the last year was eleven 11814 people who lost their lives in the battles and in attacks launched by armed terrorist groups.
Although, the Afghan authorities considering the figure presented by SIGAR exaggerated say considering the current critical situation in the country, considering the critical situation of the country, continuation of foreign interferences and invasions and exporting extremists and terrorists in to Afghanistan can change the number of casualties in the county in any moment.
Without doubt, the figure of casualties is high and shocking.
Talking about the escalation of the number of casualties in Afghanistan comes in time, the Afghan security forces after withdrawal of foreign forces stationed in the country left Afghanistan in 2014, and the remaining part assigned to support and train Afghan security and defense  forces. The Afghan forces took the responsibility of defending the country independently. The Afghan forces as they had committed stood firmly against the enemies of the country and heroically defended the national and Islamic values. We can say with pride that the Afghan forces carried out their duties successfully with high sense of patriotism since then. If the security and defense forces of the country have faced certain problems while carrying out their duties it is not the fault a brave and committed Afghan officer and soldier, it would be the relevant authorities to respond.
Some believe that a lack of precise strategy against armed oppositions is a factor that further provoked and strengthen armed oppositions and in the meantime, the equipping of Afghan forces has not taken place as our international allies and friends committed. The problem of shortage of weapons and military ammunitions is still acute. In addition, not controlling the use of weapons and ammunitions in battlefields properly has a great role in increase of casualties among military forces.
In foreign dimension, a number of foreign countries due to their objectives and programs in Afghanistan and in the region, ignoring all international laws and principles have maintained their relations with terrorist groups and militarily supported them. This treacherous act has played a great role in increasing the number of casualties among Afghans.
The number of casualties among armed oppositions is much higher than the figures Afghan security forces sustained. It is the most regrettable that it is Afghans who were killed in both sides. Afghan war is an imposed war with highly complicated foreign dimensions. Afghan security and defense forces are fighting for defending national sovereignty, national values, territorial integrity, honor, and independence of the country against insurgents who consciously or unconsciously implement and fulfill the objectives and programs of foreign intelligence services in Afghanistan and in the region. To fulfill this satanic goal, they destroy their homeland and kill their own innocent compatriots and they themselves become the victim of their own ignorance and faults.
Now it is the time, the groups with sound sane end killing Afghans, accepts, and acknowledges that killing Afghan people is not honor and the people who fight for implementing the evil goals of foreign intelligence services killed are not martyrs.
