Kabul (BNA) The Ghorak district in the southern Kandahar province came under the government control after four years being administered by Taliban insurgent.
Minister for Tribes and Frontiers, Asadullah Khaled and a number of local officials waved the national flag in the center of the district.
Minister Khaled assured the locals of the urgent reconstruction and development projects implementation in the district, saying Ghorak is prioritized in the ministries of public works and rural development.
