Kandahar (BNA) Thirty Taliban militants were killed and dozens others have been injured in a series of air strikes in Kandahar province.
The Taliban were suppressed in their strongholds in Marof and Shahwalikot districts yesterday noon.
ANA top commander in Atal army corps in south of the country told BNA, 30 Taliban militants were killed and dozens others have been wounded.
Four stronghold of the militants with all war equipment have been destroyed.
It was the second attacks of Afghan security forces on Taliban positions yesterday.
The first attack was carried out yesterday morning, killing more than 20 militants.
Security officials in south of the country said that air strikes inflected heavy losses to Taliban.
Taliban said nothing about these military attacks on their positions.
