KABUL (BNA) The Ministry of promotion of virtue and prohibition of vice held a cycling competition on Thursday in support of athletes, and to encourage youths in the sports.
The Kabul and Logar cycling teams competed each running a distance of four kilometers, said the Ministry in a statement.
The statement by the Ministry adds “sport could grow in sympathy among society and increase mutual cooperation among people, and that was the aim for holding such competitions.
Sports could prevent youths involving in drugs, and holding such competition could be used as a tool to stop youths from using drugs, said the Ministry in his statement.
