Kabul (BNA) Salahuddin Rabbani, Minister of Foreign Affairs met yesterday with Ismail Aramaz, NATO civilian representative to Afghanistan, his office said in a statement.
At the outset, NATO civilian envoy briefed the foreign minister on UN Secretary General’s future visit to Afghanistan, the statement further said. Furthermore, calling important the UN Secretary General future visit to Afghanistan before the body’s leaders’ summit in Warsaw, Rabbani stressed on the summit’s significance to the country, the statement continued. During the meeting, both sides also exchanged views on matters pertaining security situation of the country, continued cooperation of the NATO with Afghan security and defensive forces and the government’s efforts regarding peace process, the statement concluded.
