Pakistan Ambassador Calls On CE Deputy

Kabul (BNA) Pakistan ambassador to Afghanistan called on the first deputy to Chief Executive, engineer Mohammad Khan here in his office yesterday and exchanged views on matters pertaining mutual interests including enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries, Chief Executive press office reported BNA.
Expressing concerns over security problems in the region, Khan said that overcoming regional problems requires joint cooperation of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran and countries in the region. The first deputy to chief executive also noted that president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani is committed to spare no efforts in overcoming the security problems.  
Having peaceful life is the demand of both the peoples of Afghanistan and Pakistan, Khan said. For his part, the ambassador said that Pakistan is committed to help bring about peace and stability in Afghanistan. He also added that frequent visits by Pakistani civil and military officials to Kandahar, Nangarhar and Kabul has put positive impact on the situation and said, “Pakistan recognizes Afghanistan as friendly country and you would never hear from any official or media to term Afghanistan as enemy.”  The ambassador also stressed for trust building between the two countries and said that Pakistan is committed to work for peace and stability in Afghanistan and the region.
