Kabul (BNA) First Vice-President, Gen. Abdul Rashid Dostum said on Sunday that the people’s cooperation with the security forces was “an important step to remove war and insecurity in the country,” calling their role vital. In a meeting with elders, influential figures and representatives of Sar-e-Pul province in the parliament and provincial council, the Vice-President assured them of the government’s attention to their problems. The representatives of Sar-e-Pul province explained their problems, saying that the people were facing deteriorating security situation and the Taliban’s attacks. Dostum vowed that the government would soon take steps to solve their problems.
