NSP: 192 Welfare Projects Executed In Badakhshan

Kabul (BNA) More than 26,000 families have gained access to environmental facilities after execution of 192 public utility projects by National Solidarity Program (NSP) in northern Badakhshan province.
According to publication and relation Dept. of ministry of rural rehabilitation and development to BNA, the projects have been implemented and put into exploitation at a cost of 233, 320,000 Afghanis by NSP in Argo, Shahda, Baharak, Wardoj, Kofab, Darwaz Bala, Wakhan, Yemgan, Teshkan, Zebak, Shahr-e-Bozarg, Darwazy, Karan-w-Marjan and Arghanch Khawah districts of the province.
These projects include the construction work of community centers, protection walls, retaining walls, culverts, bridges, park, small hydro-electric dam, water canals, agricultural water network, sidewalks asphalting, graveling of rural roads, agricultural water supplies and micro-electricity network.
National Solidarity Program from the beginning until now have been completed and put into exploitation 3492 public utility projects in fields of transport, water, electricity and livelihoods in different parts of the province.
