Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Ishaq Alleku the attorney general met with Dr. Kamal Hussain and his accompanying delegation while Abdul Wakil Ameni deputy attorney general was also present.
At the meeting Alleku informed the UN delegation of the developments and progress in ensuring justice and implementation of legality in the past ten years in Afghanistan and thanked the UNDP for its assistance to Afghanistan and to the attorney general office.
He stressed that justice and security are part of each other while security is more important and we want to implement legality in secure atmosphere.
However in spite of international communities aid the Afghans still experience problems.
He asked the UN to continue its aid to the attorney general office.
Dr. Kamal Hussain, chairman of the UNDP assured Alleku of its continued assistance.
It should be noted that the UNDP from 2002 to date is engaged in cooperation with the judiciary and judicial systems of Afghanistan.
