Children Literature House Ceremony Held

Kabul (BNA) The Ministry of Information and Culture in joint cooperation with the Children Literature House overviewed the children literature in Afghanistan, a statement from the ministry’s press office said the other day.
The ceremony was held at the Press International Hall, where chief of the Children Literature House, Ajmal Turman opened the children literature, a statement from the ministry’s press office said the other day.
Minister of Information and Culture, Abdul Bari Jahani visited the key part of the Children Literature building society and social literatures and renewed commitment for providing the ground for financial cooperation to help publishing process of the Child Anis quarterly publication through the monitory fund, the statement added.
Minister Jahani also pledged to publish 10 important books for the children, alongside making efforts for the children, this year, according to the statement.
The minister asked media for releasing what he called very important and helpful for sound mental and psychological security of the children, the statement added.
Likewise, besides evaluating the books published for the children in 1394, the scientific commission announced the three preferred books – “Rashi Chi Hawa Wokro, Zamin and Asman, Da Waro Malika.”
The commission awarded Arash Nangyalay, Mrs. Parween Pajhwok and Mr. Mahmoud Marhoon appreciate letters and cash prizes of 2,000 Afghanis for creative works, during the ceremony, according to the statement. The Ministry of Information and Culture also awarded appreciate letters to the ten personalities who have provided full cultural cooperation in writing and translation of the Children literature in the ceremony.
