Kabul (BNA) The Minister of Information and Culture Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen on Thursday hoped that two journalists should be introduced to the Media High Council through official channels.
Talking to BNA corresponded on Wednesday, he added that the meeting of the Media High Council would be held next Wednesday afternoon and the issue would be discussed, saying he is hopeful that all the media outfits including the journalism faculty of Kabul University to introduce two journalists to the media high council unanimously, so as to prevent differences in future.
Dr. Raheen also noted that he had called on media men four years ago to elect two persons but they didn’t.
However, he pointed out that the media high council cannot wait further more.
He also wished that all the media outlets should unanimously introduce two persons.
