Sunday, February 18, 2018

Kabul (BNA) In a newsletter, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) stressed that Chinese forces’ presence in Afghanistan has not been proposed at all, BNA reported on Saturday.
According to the agency, wrong information have recently been publishing in media, saying that People’s Republic of China has planned to build a military base in Badakhshan.
UNSC has clarified that such information are baseless, adding without confirming of UNSC and President Ghani, such a decision cannot be taken, the agency added.
Like other regional countries, China is also a victim of terrorism and it is a partner of Afghanistan and other regional countries in fighting terrorism, the agency contused.
Cooperation between Afghanistan and China have wide dimensions, but presence of Chinese forces in Afghanistan has definitely not proposed so far, the newsletter said.
