Bamyan (BNA) One person was martyred and three others were injured when a group of bandits attacked on a convoy of passengers on the Ghor-Kabul highway.
According to reports, bandits attacked on convoy of passengers in Kotal Bekk village of Yakaolang district of Bamyan yesterday.
Witnesses say the driver of the car was trying to escape from the bandits when he was shot dead.
Three passengers were also shot and wounded after resisting the bandits.
A security source on the Ghor-Kabul highway told BNA that efforts had begun to track down and detain the bandits.
