Kabul (BNA) The visit of president Karzai to Indonesia and signing political, commercial and cultural cooperation between the two countries opened a new chapter on friendly relation between Afghanistan and Indonesia.
BNA political analyst writes:
The leadership of Afghanistan from the starting of working toward building a new society has tried hard to promote mutual relations with the world countries and for achieving this noble aim, so far has signed agreements, contracts, and long term cooperation documents with many countries of the world especially Islamic countries.
During the visit Dr. Zulmai Rasool the minister of foreign affairs signed a friendship and cooperation agreement on removing issuing visa and passport for service and bilateral consultations.
Likewise, Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen the minister of information and culture with his Indonesian counterpart has signed an understanding memorandum on cultural exchange between the two countries.
Without doubt, signing the above documents, provide a healthy ground for further expansion of co-operations with Indonesia the largest Islamic country in South East Asia.
Improving political, commercial and cultural ties between Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Indonesia having the highest Islamic values would be to profit of the peoples of the two countries and the region.
In belief of the leadership of Afghanistan, further improvement of mutual relations among Islamic countries and the region, is a clear message for the necessity of anti terrorism campaign and closer links of Islamic countries on political, economic and cultural fields can bring the nations closer and remove mistrusts among them.
The Afghanistan foreign political policy, strongly insists on improvement of relations among the countries and removing mistrusts. For implementing this policy, employs every opportunity for the cause of the national and regional interests, improve relations among all countries, particularly among Islamic countries.
Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in a joint news conference with Indonesian president said that his visit to Indonesia not only caused improvement of relations between Afghanistan and Indonesia but laid a concrete base for relations between the peoples of the two countries.
