Defense Minister on a Trip Visits Bamyan

BAMYAN (BNA) Acting National Defense Minister of National Defense Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid on a trip left for Bamyan province on Saturday.

The press office of the Ministry by the ministry in a statement said, the acting defense minister met with clerics, ethnic influential, and youth in Bamyan during his visit to the province.

Meanwhile, scholars, ethnic influentials, and the youth of Bamyan, while hailing the visit of the acting Minister of National Defense to the province, called it a good step towards building trust between the nation and the government and stated their full support for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Minister Mujahid, while appreciating their support and hospitality, assured them that their suggestions and problems would be addressed.

In the meantime, the acting defense minister met with authorities and defense officials who are in charge to ensure the security of highways.

Earlier, the acting Defense of Minister had visited a number of provinces to evaluate the security situation, and last week, during his last visit to Nangarhar, he visited the imaginary Durand line.
