Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a decree issued here the other day ordered setting up of a panel headed by Mohammad Anwar Akbar senior advisor to finance ministry and membership of officials from National Directorate for Security (NDS), customs directorate, ministry for commerce & industries, chamber of commerce & industries.
The commission has been tasked to inspect and find out the reason for reduction in the customs departments, challenges on the way to reform custom and checking bribery on the highways and also examine the necessities and non-necessities of police in custom departments. Under the presidential decree the ministries for defense and interior as well as NDS have been tasked to provide security and facilities for the commission during their duties.
