President Ghani Chairs ‘Armed Forces’ Supreme Command’ Session

Kabul (BNA)  Chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the armed forces supreme command session was held Saturday evening at presidential palace.
In the session, security organs were instructed to adopt overall security measures and maintain security of mosques in Kabul and provinces.
Afterwards, officials for MoIA and NDS delivered the session their reports in connection with preliminary reviews particularly terrorist attack on Hamid Karzai International Airport and terrorist attack on prayers in a mosque in Kabul.
After overall discussions, the session issued necessary instructions for further reviewing the respective terrorist incident.
Meanwhile, the session reviewed the country’s security situation in particular security situation of Faryab, Jawzjan, Baghlan, Kabul, Logar, Ghazni, Urozgan, Zabdul, Kandahar and Farah and while praising ANDSF for their bravery instructed security and defense officials for improvement of security situation in the respective provinces.
